This white phalanopsis orchid is shown in our 5in terra cotta pot. A sprig of kiwi vine is added to lend support to the bloom stalk, it's also lending a bit of flair.

This beautiful orchid is the palest shade of apple green. Ask about our current selection of colors!

Another beautiful speckled purple. We refer to this color as our lavender. Note the great number of blossoms and buds yet to come. I particularly like the graceful arch of this one.

This phaleanopsis sports two flower spikes. It should grace your home with blooms for several months to come.

We call this unusual color amber. Shown here in a nice double spike plant.

There are several different ways that a phalaenopsis sends out buds, sometimes they send out two or more flower spikes, or as in this one, they send out side, or lateral shoots. Sometimes we're lucky to recieve orchids with both multiple spikes and laterals, these are truly showpieces!

Typically sells for $75

This lovely white phal is a good example of what your orchid will look like when both flower spikes bloom simultaneously. Magnificent.

Typically sells for $100

This is a real show stopper! It's not often that we find an orchid with so many laterals. This is an older plant, as evidenced by the size and number of leaves. We add kiwi vine to the spikes for support but as your orchid blooms you may need additional support. We have kiwi available for sale or if you prefer we can add bamboo in interesting configurations.

As shown, $180

We were asked to make an extra special orchid presentation, this is what we came up with. We took two of our phalenopsis, put them into our double-size, copper clad, splint baskets and added a spring mixture of fresh cut flowers.

This close-up shows the color we call amber.

Our purple veined, or lavender orchids.

This is a blossom shot of the orchid pictured above. The bud count is incredible.

A beautiful shot of our white phals with fuschia throats. So dainty.

We always keep a good selection of orchids on hand. Call or email to learn of what is currently available. 504-529-1638 or john@harkinsneworleans.com

Pot cover options.

We always dress our orchids in terra cotta pots with moss and either kiwi vine or bamboo. Shown above are examples of alternate containers that are currently available. Antiqued tin, embossed similarly to old ceiling tiles with a fleur de lis motif. Metal containers with a faux antiqued leather look. Copper clad splint baskets. There would be an additional $10 charge for the single size pots, and a $20 charge for the double pots of either design.
