We know that food is almost a religion in New Orleans, so a popular part of our repertoire is our fruit and Louisiana gourmet basket department.
Our fruit baskets are prepared to order, with a member of our staff going to the grocery to select the finest fruits of the day. Special requests can be honored. A woven basket with Spanish moss holds the fruit. Just before sealing with cellophane and adding a festive bow a selection of individually wrapped candies is sprinkled among the fruit.
Here is a representative fruit basket. Prices start at $50.

Over the years our Louisiana Gourmet Baskets have become increasingly popular. At the heart
of this offering are two women across the Lake who have a cottage industry called “Weetsie’s Two.” Weetsie was their grandmother, and it is her recipes they use with local fruits and vegetables to provide delectable treats. Leading the way are the Ponchatoula strawberry preserves. Other offerings include the sinfully delicious products of Southern
Candymakers, Roman Candy off the wagon Uptown and other down-home Louisiana selections from LaDon’s Kitchen up in the river parishes.

Gourmet baskets begin at $35. Pricing is $7 per item plus an initial charge of $7 for the basket, Spanish moss, cellophane and ribbon. Mardi Gras beads are thrown in as lagniappe.
Jawn's done it again! From his old home state comes a
new gourmet basket offering. Savor such down home treats as Green Tomato Salsa,
Peach Pepper Sauce, Phickle Pickles, and Pulley Bone Barbeque Sauce. The
unbelievable icing on the cake is the Comeback Sauce. Anyone who spent much time
in Jackson, Mississippi knows about this dressing. Skip the green stuff. grab a
box of crackers and go for it. (the same way Jawn did growing up)!

We ship these baskets all over the country. We prepare the baskets and have our shipping agent send them U.P.S. Ground service is somewhat affordable; overnight and second day air can be rather extravagant. We are happy to work with you by phone
or e-mail as to the lightest items for shipping.
We do not offer the traditional gourmet baskets with sausages, cheeses, chocolates and such.
